Custom Order Terms of Reservation; We require a retainer of 30% of your final bird invoice (non refundable after 30 days) on all custom finches. This is not an added cost and in fact constitutes your first payment.
All custom orders on average take up to 8-10 months to complete due to waiting list demands this may be longer or shorter depending on availability / complexity of mutation.
there may not be an after market for some of them, which may lead to a total loss for Lady Gouldian Finch Canada, when orders are canceled. It is specifically because of individualized order acceptance, and individualized breeding to such orders, that a deposit is required in advance. Such deposits can therefore not be refunded when a customer cancels 30 days after contractual breeding agreement is reached. This agreement allows us to only couple and breed birds that will be re sold and reduce the number of excess birds we breed and have to find homes for. A portion or all of this cancellation fee will be used to re market the finches for re-sale on advertising sites. Substitutions will void contract if made after 30 day grace period. Custom Orders Terms of Sale Lady Gouldian Finch Canada guarantees the health of this/these bird(s) for the first 48 hours after receivership only. Under no condition will the bird(s) be replaced/compensated if sick or dead bird(s) are not reported to this aviary before residing 48 hours or more at it's/their new facility. All exported birds will be accompanied by Health Certification and therefore compensation of poor health is non applicable. All medications / vet costs in country will be compensated if applicable and proper notification / documentation is supplied to Lady Gouldian Finch Canada prior to purchase of treatment and or diagnostic visit. REFUNDS Buyer has 30 days from reservation date to cancel this breeding agreement without forfeiture of reservation fee Buyer may cancel and receive full reservation fee if chicks are unavailable or a new receivership date is not within 3 months of original receivership date. Buyer may not request additional funds on reservations for loss of income or interest on reservation. Buyer may not contact other parties when agreement is canceled by seller. Breeder may cancel this contract up to 60 days of expected receivership date provided buyer receives full explanation and reservation fee is paid in full by original estimated receivership date. Lady Gouldian Finch Canada does not sell any finches still in juvenile moult so the following may apply as breeding is not an exact science: Breeder may request extension if reserved chicks are still in moult on expected receivership date until birds have coloured up (within 3 months of original receivership date. ) . Breeder may request extension if reserved chicks are still in parental care and un available for sale. If reserved chicks are unavailable for 3 months or more after expected receivership date buyer will be entitled to postpone and receive full refund or postpone until an amicable date is agreed upon. Once chicks are ringed seller will receive a breeding contract with full ring information and sales contract as well as concrete receivership date as reservation date may be just an estimation as breeding is not an exact science. This guarantee of refund is void if :
ERRORS IN ORDERS:

any future claims to compensation/litigation and may in future resort
to
seizure of all profits and or chicks from this un-reported error with buyers full co-operation. BREEDABILITY OF FINCHES: This/these bird(s) is/are guaranteed to be fertile. However, it/they is/are not guaranteed to hatch or raise the young because that is customarily a breeder/aviaries issue and not the bird(s), and not due to the lack of quality of the bird(s). MUTATIONS If this/these bird(s) are/is found to not be the visual mutation listed by the 2nd day of sale Lady Gouldian Finch Canada will replace it/them with the proper mutation bird(s) at no charge to you as long as you return /bring the bird(s) to us in good health,. Under no condition will the bird be replaced:
