instructions:
Given at first sign of illness
Dose:
is 5-10ml per 100 ml warm ( not scalding, but not tepid
either...ideally about 80 Oc)
drinking water or enough ER until mixture is creamy
Keep Er warm by placing container so that it is floating in hot bath
easiest way is to place in plastic bowl and place plastic bowl in
larger bowl of hot water
Given with a crop needle

Severely Ill Birds (makes 3 mls of
rescue formula :
fill
large bowl with hot water (42 0c -107.6 0f )
place stainless
bowl in hot water add 2 level tsp. of Er Formula
then add 2 mls
of heated water
whisk into
smooth paste
Once whisked an
smooth add 1 drop of quik gel
and finally 2
more mls of hot water
whisk until all
is blended and soak up with a pipette needle
Feed as
instructed in hand feeding

Immerse filled
pipette or crop needle needle in hot water to make sure it is the
proper temperature
feed ten ill
bird via the crop needle.
Remember to
keep it in warm dry place for best healing results.

energy levels, internal temperature and fluid balance very rapidly.
Er formula should be your first defence when birds appear fluffed and
listless.
Er formula when
administered early it may along with heat and quiet save your bird from
falling into more severe
illness and shock.
Er Formula is
ideal at keeping young abandoned or orphaned chicks from succumbing to
stress related illness when accompanied with quik gel.
It is fed to chicks and ill birds via a pipette or crop
needle.
We use Er Formula at the aviary whenever a bird falls ill for no
apparent reason.
