Well here we are another season just about to end and austerity around the corner.

We were quite pleased with this year's breeding season.
We were able to raise 90% of this years gouldian young naturally..without fostering.
We had many babies born to quite high quality show parents so should have no problem finding
this years team of show stock.

It was achieved by years of closing the aviary during breeding season and concentrating on ONLY those that parent reared regardless of type.

Now that we have achieved a great many babies that will more than likely rear on their own we can re concentrate on type.
This means the gouldians will not only be parent rearing but also much more stunning in over all colour and appearance.

It was a long 3 years but well worth it as our yields were up meaning more chicks survived to the adult moult this year than any other, and very little was due to interference by me in any way inc. fostering.

We nixed the G-Tea it was just to volatile to ship.

We improved protein complete and have re named it protein complete plus.
It still has all the goodness of the of protein complete but with less breeder preparation.
Now you simply open the jar, and some water and serve.
It contains:
-all the same vitamins, minerals, and proteins , but we have added
-sprouted seed
-G-Tea
-Beets : very low in Saturated Fat and Cholesterol ; and contains : Vitamin C, Iron and Magnesium as well as being a very good source of Dietary Fiber, Folate, Potassium and Manganese

-and have given it a much more nutritious hardy look.
Once you open a can you will not believe the transition.
The label has changed also. The new label reflects the products natural..goodness.

Many do not realize that gouldians need this time to rest, detox and build up strength for the breeding season. Austerity is a very important time in a gouldians life and you can more about it here
We also have made another 15 kg of protein complete plus ...sells out faster than we can make it.

So all in all an amazing month , and looking forward to the brief rest as the gouldians transition into austerity before cage cleaning and show preparations begin.
