Many are grown by us so we can guarantee their  organic goodness ( we use no herbicides,  fungicides,  insecticides on our home grown produce, and buy produce free of these chemicals for protein complete.
Many of the produce items are freeze dried the same day they are harvested to ensure freshness and to lock in the highest amounts of vitamins without much loss ensuring maximum benefit to your finches/canaries/budgies/etc...

Weaning your avian companion(s) on to protein complete:

For the first day of introduction place in with bird(s) favourite treat.
amount should not exceed 1/10th of the treat total .
repeat for 2 days minimum

Every third day repeat as with the first 2 days increasing amount of
PC by no more then 1/10th treat total to a maximum of 100% on day 20
 
In less then  3 week your birds should be quite used to and enjoying the
protection and nutrition protein complete provides.

We have often been asked what is the comparison between protein complete and:

-The cheapest egg food on market which is 2 cents per gram 
-The cheapest herb food which is close to 3 cents per gram
-The cheapest vegetable supplement: none available for comparison
- The cheapest dried fruit we could find was just under 2 1/2 cents per gram
- The cheapest freeeze dried insectivorous food was 2 1/2 cents per gram
